What are the causes of facial rash?



Facial rash can be the result of different diseases or conditions, including inflammation, infection, allergic reaction, and autoimmune processes. In case facial rash appears all of sudden, it might be due to an allergic reaction, sensitivity to a particular substance, such as a facial moisturizers, food or medication.

Chronic or long-term facial rash may be caused by conditions like acne, or an inflammatory disorder, such as rosacea. Rosacea is characterized by facial flushing and raised bumps. While the exact cause of rosacea is unknown, there are available treatments that can keep it under control.
A facial rash in infants may be caused by trapped dead skin cells or baby acne. Notice, a rash in kids might be a sign of many different conditions, such as: eczema, allergies, and viral diseases
